October catches.
Blond Ray caught by Graham Maidment
March- First bream of the year a good fish of 4lb 4oz caught by Dave Humphry of Southampton Offshore we had good eels to 40lb and spurs to
14lb
May offshore fishing was good with plenty of eels. tope
and the odd pollack. The best tope of 26lb was caught by Martin Savage.
June another good month offshore for tope, eels and bream to 5lb
6oz
Double figure bullhuss for Mick Whitehurst from Bournmouth
also good smoothies to 12lb and a bonus late spur for Pat
from London.
July was a bad month for weather but some good fishing for rays
inshore on light tackle, the best one a 15lb 8oz undulate one of 3 doubles caught by Dave Rodgers
The weather also forced us to the harbour for some of the time, this
isn't a problem when there fish like this to be caught a 5lb 4oz plaice
for Ken Jones of the Warren club Southampton.
August and the best fish
this month that wasn't a bass or shark was also caught in the harbour a 2lb12oz
sole for Jon Watts the barber from Harnetts in Shirley Southampton.
